Day 237
Proverbs 22:2
Proverbs 22:2 The rich and poor meet together: the LORD is the maker of them all.
Some things in life are undeniable facts. Everybody, rich and poor live on this planet, earth, which God created, and he made all of us.
Every day we see people, whether by design or accident, whether we know them or not. We see them in our work places, pass them on streets, where we spend time in leisure occupations, people are everywhere.
There are those who would deny that God created the earth or the people on it. Yet scripture is clear.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (KJV)
Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.
Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. (KJV)
Up until Darwin, man did not question that people came from somewhere, even if they did not believe in God. The idea of evolution had not entered into man’s thoughts. Since Darwin, man has embraced the theory of evolution, and negated God from all thought.
David called such people fools who said there isn’t any God.
Psalm 14:1 < The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that does good.
2 The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that does good, no, not one.
4 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? Who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.
Solomon understood from his father, that God created the world and God created everyone on it. He could see how man lived and worked together, and he could see whether they believed in God or not.
As Christians, you also understand God created the world and the people on it. You know of a certainty that evolution is a lie of Satan, drawing man away from God and giving them thoughts and ideas contrary to the Word of God.
No one has ever been able to theorize God away. God is. He has always been. He will always be. God is eternal. The same cannot be said about evolution, or any of the other theories about our existence. Every theory goes back to a point that cannot be explained. When you get to that point, the only explanation is that God created the heavens and the earth. No one else.
God created man in his image. You and me, were created by God. God gave you your personality, talents, and abilities. He made you for worship and praise. He made you to bring glory to his name. God loves you as a father loves his child.
Next time you see someone, whether you know them or not, remember God created them and loves them too, and smile. God loves the people of the world and has them in his hands.
Let’s pray: Father, thank you for creating me to worship and praise you. Help me remember that you created everybody, and you love them as much as you love me. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen.
