Is summer season good for growth of jasmine flowers?

Jasmines have white colour and beautiful smell. In Kolkata and entire India they grow well during summer. They are grown in potted plants in balconies. The speciality of the flowers is that they grow and blossom at night. They require watering twice a day.

Thanks Mike. Jasmine flower is of medium size. But they smell very nice.
