Here's the top (of the charts) when it comes to songs that have parenthetical titles. Thanks, as always, to @teamfreak16 for starting this. Here's my favorite song that has a title that has parentheses in the title. #1: They Just Can't Stop It (The Games People Play) - Spinners Ooh, la la and a la la la! (That's a line out of a Wilburn Brothers song...if nothing else, you'll be entertained how I can throw a country song in a discussion about a great R&B tune!) Man, this is a killer song. Oh, the crazy thing called love. This poor man is all over the place, looking for love, not sure if it'll come, always thinking of a girl. He knows love is a game, but he's still optimistic ("but I still have today"). The Spinners were one of the greatest vocal groups -- pop, rock, R&B, you name it -- of the 70s.
