I am proud to announce that I had my first day back at work this week. I have been lucky enough to have raised my kids at home for the past nine years. On Wednesday this week I filled in for a temp agency as a receptionist. It was my first day back at work in nine years! It didn't go perfect, I was late 35 minutes because it was far from home and I got lost. Other than that, it was a relaxing day and I really enjoyed it. I feel relieved and excited about going back. I really hope I get something close to my home and maybe part time. My pay for the day is coming next Friday. I am just wondering how much money I clear. I make a nice little side income with my hubpages, perk tv, inbox dollars, mylot, and social media job I have. I just want to see how much more it really is. I also paid tolls and gas. I will let you guys know. Are there any mom's out there that can share their "first day back at work" experiences with me?

I am retired now, but I do remember when I was young and went back to work for a while after having my first son, I felt so "weird".

Yes, I missed my family but it wasn't so bad

I went back to work years ago since we weren't doing well without it. I loved my job as a secretary but I absolutely hated leaving my children every day. It was so hard for me. I am grateful to be able to stay home again-at least for now. =)

@simpleliving3251120 I Home School my children as well so I pray that I won't have to work because they would have a horrible time if that happens.

@LovingMyBabies you could always work from home. There are a lot of opportunities, you just need to apply

Yes, stay home with those babies as long as you can. I am only doing full time for the summer being that my hubby is off for summers. In the fall hopefully I will only work one or two days a week while they are in school

How much do you usually clear a month on PerkTV?

About 10 per month, one phone. A lot of people prefer swagbucks, perk works better for me.
