Nirbhaya Rape Case : judgment pronounced

The super court bench on 5-5-17 pronounced the verdict imposing a death penalty on the four rapists in the Nirbhaya Case. The case was pending since 2015. Finally, the case has come to a close. Even two years is more time in my view. The case should have been taken up immediately and finalized then and there itself. But, things do not go easily in a country like India. The justice will be waiting at the entrance of Court only for years together. The parents were really unhappy over the slow process with which the case was going on. But, finally, this has come to an end. The case is relating a rape of a lady by 5 people. The lady was coming along with his boyfriend after the movie and they got into a bus. The bus was stopped somewhere in a remote area. The boy was taken aside and beaten brutally and the lady was raped and was murdered. When she was taken to hospital she was declared brought dead.
