What's taking us so long?!

At this point, I'm genuinely confused as to why America hasn't banded together in revolution to bring Trump down. It's a fact that the majority of Americans strongly dislike him and his policies. And IT'S A FACT that he is set on regressing this country to a much less evolved one -- what with his blatantly racist antics (such as his ridiculous Muslim ban and his calling funding for "historically black colleges unconstitutional"), the fact that he's been caught in discussions admitting he takes liberties with women because he's a celebrity and can get away with it, the fact that he's screwing with the livelihoods and health of lower-income families while providing the rich with (yet another) tax break. I mean, can someone help me out here?! Other countries have fought and brought down their governments for far less, yet here we are, still touting the "land of the free" card when this disgusting excuse for a human being is attacking the fundamentals that still make us human. I posted a status on Facebook about what a crap person Trump is and my husband flipped out and told me to erase it because something could happen. It's a sign of the times when, in a place like America where free speech has brought about so much change, you and your loved ones are actually worried about it putting your life in jeopardy. Honestly, guys, if we'd had the means, we'd have been out of this place the night he was elected. What do you guys think? Why are Americans remaining so complacent?

I don't understand this sentence: "It's a fact that the majority of Americans strongly dislike him and his policies." Trump wouldn't have been elected if the majority disliked him.

The may have voted for him, but the number of people who dislike him is growing, even among his voters. People CAN admit they made a mistake.

@stasis Yes, they can. But it would have been better if they had switched on their brains before election day.

@MALUSE I agree with that! If they'd thought about the long-term beforehand, we wouldn't be in this mess.

I don't think that there will be a revolution in America just to topple down Donald Trump.
