My disappointment that there will be no Amazing Spider Man 3

I read on Quora.com recently if there were any plans to make the third Amazing Spider Man movie after the end of the Amazing Spider Man 2 ended on a cliffhanger when Spider Man and one of his young fans battled the villain called Rhino. The answer is that since The Amazing Spider Man 2 was not a box office hit that justified another movie to pick up where Peter Parker could overcome the loss of his girlfriend Gwen Stacy and continue crime fighting as Spider Man is going to happen since Andrew Garfield is working on some other projects and working on another Spider Man is out of the question. All I can say about these studios that make these super hero movies is "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me." Make movies for the younger kids, I will be happy seeing the classic Justice League Of America cartoons on DVD.
