With the recent victory of Emmanuel Macron as the new President Of France comes uncertainties and questions. Will France remain as member of the European Union or EU or will it do a Franxit like what the U.K. did? Will France remain as part of NATO? How will France deal with terrorism? Will France cling to its long tradition of offering asylum to foreign refugees?

I think France, Europe and the world dodged a huge bullet. I don't usually pay real close attention to elections outside the US, or I should say I didn't in the past, but with the apparent white nationalist trend that helped push Trump into the White House I've started to now. I was so afraid that Marine Le Pen (Sp?) would win since she was Putin's choice and Russia tried to interfere with France's election as they had in ours. I find President Macron to be a breath of fresh air and his election gives me hope that we can, in his words, make the planet great again.

Obviously, you haven't informed yourself about what Macron stands for. He's for Europe, Marine Le Pain stands for Frexit.
