Bluer Than Blue

Here I was last week happy that it was May. The weather became warm and sunny. Everything was getting ready to burst into bloom. Suddenly I was overcome by such a sad feeling. Not like depressed just terribly down and as they say blue. Must of burnt myself out like a candle during April just no inspiration nothing. I could even sit on the side of the bed or on a chair and just let the hours go by. Finally this week slowly but surely things are getting back to normal. Those of you who know me well on myLot know I get a lot of help from music. What finally got me over my bout of the blues was listening to the old songs I love especially Mama Cass “Don’t Let the Good Times Pass You By” You have to smile when you hear it and hey, this morning inspiration struck me for a poem. I was getting kind of worried there. Have you ever had the blues suddenly? How do you get out of the situation?

I just ride it out. I don't think the blues or whatever ever truly leaves me.
