Former Carolina Panthers assistant general manager Brandon Beane will replace Doug Whaley as the new general manager of the Buffalo Bills. Beane has worked with current Bills head coach Sean McDermott but the deal in Buffalo is that McDermott will have Beane supply him the players he needs to coach the football team. It is very unusual for a head football coach to have more power on a football team than the general manager but in the case of the Buffalo Bills, McDermott and Beane who will in their first year working together with the Bills organization, it will have to do.
