Could you spend whole day without speaking with anyone?

Hi to all Mylot friend's...I can do this but only during sleep...Lol I am so talkative, it is impossible for me to be Silent for 24 hours.But I have heard that some of them doing fasting by not speaking with anyone around them. Can you do this?

It's not an impossible thing to do. Many people in who have this "vow of silence" in the convent or monastery are doing that everyday I think as part of their period of contemplation or reflection or meditation.

I'm not that talkative and i like it when no body is around. I like it when I can rest my head without talking to anyone at all. I prefer text messages better than one on one. Well, silence is my cool friend...

I think I could do it for maybe two days, but human interaction is so important that one of the worst punishments in prison is solitary confinement.

Yes some cultures require you to remain silent as part of the fast, but else being talkative is perfectly normal! I'm a talkative person too so much so that I sleep talk as well!! Now I'm not sure if that part is normal..
