I am disappointed in this book

Have you ever seen the film Rose Red? It's a Stephen King movie. In any case, it is a pretty good movie and one of my favorites. I just got done reading a book that, at first, seemed a lot like the book. There was a constant need to build exhibited by the main character's father. That correlates with the constant building being done / talked about in the movie "Rose Red". The mansion in this book has staircases lead to nowhere. There is even a room that you get into through a window... The plot is solid enough, but it is still lacking. There is some talk of the reasoning behind the goings on, but we don't get to see a real conclusion to it. A real resolution to it. That would be almost okay, but then the book is left with you in some suspense. Even so, I don't think it was meant as a cliffhanger... I will let you decide whether it's something you'd want to read...

I've heard of Rose Red, but never read the book or saw the movie.

Well the book I talk about here isn't the same one to do with the actual movie...

I guess some books are just meant to leave you hanging and wondering. Maybe that's what Stephen King meant to do. Who knows,

This is NOT the Stephen King Book... I guess I may not have been so clear on my discussion. I've confused everybody.

Maybe you are meant to be wondering at the end of the book.

Yes, I am sure that was what the author had intended. Or he, himself, wasn't sure how to end it so left it like that.

I actually don't like a lot of Stephen King books, which is funny because I like a lot of movies that have been made after his books.
