How to keep cats out of potted plants?

            My cat keeps digging in one of my potted plants and is starting to ruin it.Anyone know of anyways to keep them out of it?

                    I was always told to use moth balls or cayenne pepper. I never tried them so I don't know if it works.

                            I have heard about the moth balls but I don't want my living room smelling like that.The cayenne pepper might be worth a shot though.Ty for the suggestions.

                    Let us know if anything works!Mine are driving me nuts with a cactus.. about the only thing I can't seem to kill.. although I came close! lol
They've knocked it off my entertainment center about 10 times already!!!! grrrrrrr

                    Hmm, put some vinegar aroundthe plant, as cats haete the smell of it.

                    I have a couple of tips:
1. If you use bounce sheets, put them near the plant.  Cats seem to hate fabric sheets.
2. Spray the cat with a water bottle. Now don't go crazy and hose the cat down.  Just a little squirt.
3. Move the plant so they cannot get it!
4. Put funky rocks around the soil
5. You can buy cat spray, but the stuff really stinks.
