Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Blaine Gabbert who was released by the team at the end of the 2016 football season has landed on his feet on Thursday by signing a one year contract with the Arizona Cardinals. Gabbert will be battling Drew Stanton to work as the second string quarterback behind Cardinals starting quarterback Carson Palmer during the 2017 football season. Fox Sports personality Shannon Sharpe believes that free agent Colin Kaepernick is more qualified to be in competition to work as the backup quarterback to Palmer. In Sharpe's opinion, Kaepernick is being blackballed by the National Football League for his refusal to stand during the playing of the Star Spangled Banner before the start of football games during the 2016 football season. Kaepernick made his bed, now lay in it. Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians believes that Gabbert can be a successful quarterback in the National Football League under his guidance in 2017. We shall see about that.

Oh please, Kaepernick stunk every time he touched the ball. His antics have nothing to do with it. If he played good, he would have no worries.

You are correct. It worked for Michael Vick when he got out of prison for the dog fighting scandal that is worse than kneeling down during the playing of our national anthem.
