The last Elvis song I wrote about had him singing about going from rags to riches. Here is sings about turning from a Jack to a King as long as he has love. I have always enjoyed that special quality he gives to this song. This is actually a country song.
The very first version was recorded by Ned Miller and came out in 1957. When the song was re-released five years later it crossed over many charts – country, pop and adult contemporary.
Elvis recorded this song in 1969 however it did not chart on Billboard.

I am a great fan and since I started posting things about Elvis people look forward to what I write about him. Yes, he had so many songs no one could ever really know them all but due to that instead of choosing individual songs I am now going to start discussing his albums. That should bring back some memories @chrisbergstrom

@RasmaSandra that is great, my Great Grandma and my Aunt just love Elvis, we have to huge portrait paintings of him maybe I will take pictures and make a discussion later for you to see them, they are quite good have been in our family for a very long time!!
