My brother is suffering from the two. I want to visit him this evening. He can't moved due to wrong meds. Damn doctor didn't listen when he told them he's allergic to certain meds I don't know much about what he can eat and what he can't. Been googling to find something to buy to help him ease the pain. It said apple cider vinegar helps. Or was it apple vinegar? Or those two are actually the same thing? Now I'm confused Anyone has experience with the two disease and can give advice, please do.

I think he needs to stop eating legumes. It will decrease the level of uric acid.

Is it true that eating too much beans would result to having gout?

He must not eat food like beans or food that is high in uric acid. It's apple cider, it has a lot of benefits.

@prinzcy Yes, patients in the center where I'm having my treatment uses apple cider and pair them with honey. It's preventing them to get flu or colds.

My father-in-law had an attack of gout before because of his obesity and eating unhealthily. He wasn't able to move for 3 days. But after taking what the doctor has prescribed him, his gout lessened in intensity and he again ws able to walk. High cholesterolcan be lowered by medicines . After a month the patient has to undergo laboratoryexams if it has normalized. When already normal, he will not be takin meda anymore , but will live healthily, meanin he has to exercise at least 30 minutes everyday, eat lts of fruits and vegetables. But you said your brther is allergice to some components of medicines. The doctor should really assess that so the right medicne for him can be prescribed. Yes, i have heard that apple cider vinegarcan really help lower down cholesterol and those purines that causes gout.

The doctor stubbornly insisted for him to take the meds. He's in the army and that is their doctor. So my brother still take that meds even when he knew the effect.

It depends on his daily routines... Excercise is the best way to keep circulation in his body as well as drinking plenty fluids , resting to proper digestion. However, natural remedies are a greater advantage than medication but I would never tell you not to follow your Doctor recommendations. The main thing is to attack Inflammation : Garlic every day in some form is very beneficial. Onion , and Walnuts to name a few and incorporating Fish Oil/Seafood , Olives, etc. This disease have to constantly be monitored ... But with Hope I wish the Best!
