San Fransisco Giants ace left handed starting pitcher Madison Bumgarner who suffered a partial tear on his pitching shoulder in late April when he was riding a dirt bike accident in Denver Colorado which will keep him off the pitching mound until early August. The loss of Bumgarner has been critical to the Giants being currently in last place in the National League West Division 10 games behind the Colorado Rockies who lead the division as of Friday's baseball games. The silver lining in the dark cloud has been that Bumgarner will not surgery to repair the partial tear in his left shoulder which could have sidelined Bumgarner for a longer period of time.

The Giants are dying without MadBum but he may not cure their ails.

I was shocked that they are in last place this year. Losing MadBum is like losing the big toe of a foot like Bill Murray said in the movie "Stripes."
