The Disney movie "Guardians Of The Galaxy" won the weekend box office while the Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn "Snatched" came in second place and "King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword came in third place. In my opinion the reason that "King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword" was not a box office hit for director Guy Ritchie and actor Charles Hunnam was because it competed against the Guardians Of The Galaxy which appeals more to kids than the King Arthur story playing again in the theaters one week after the opening of the Guardians Of The Galaxy sequel. I just love the entertainment media saying that the King Arthur movie will be the largest and most expensive flop in the history of summer motion pictures in 2017. Come on media, preach some good news for once. Look what happened to ESPN for preaching bad news to the humanoids, they had to let go of at least 100 employees due to the fan base cutting the cord.

What were they thinking making this movie? Guy Ritchie's biggest disaster since marrying Madonna.

The problem was also delays in releasing the movie since it was supposed to have been released around 2015 or 2016.

I think the King Arthur movie flopped because the world really didn't need one more King Arthur movie.

I just think King Arthur and Lone Ranger are not what kids today want to see. They like future science fiction heroes.

@Deepizzaguy I agree with you, Kids today are not interested in low-tech action/adventure.

@DWDavis That is what got in trouble with W G Ventures when I told them that a fan of the original Justice League Of America adventures from the 1960s since they were a brotherhood. They told me that old school scripts would work with kids today since they like Star Wars and Star Trek type of shows.
