Does rain water help in growth of red roses?

Roses grown in potted plants give flowers all along the year. Mostly these potted plants are kept in balconies of flats in Kolkata. I had seen whenever it rains, the new red roses blossom. Does rain water help in the growth of red roses?

Well, as long as the rain isn't too much. My mistake now was planting veggie plants this summer.

Yes I believe rain water is natural so it helps all plants as long as it is not too very heavy to take the petals off.

It is interesting Ocean. When it rains heavily I will try to keep the potted plant inside.
