When will we learn the lessons of history and stop the evil?

I heard on the news that the Syrian president used the crematorium to burn the bodies of people who opposed him and were executed without trial. It is reminiscent of the story my grandfather told about his parents and uncles who lived in Germany in the 1930s. During the Nazi regime, they were sent to the Ghetto and from there they were sent to murder in the Nazi extermination camp and their bodies burned in the [b]crematorium[b]. I thought that such a things would no longer happen in our world ... So sad to hear ... what do you think? When will we learn the lessons of history and stop the evil?

I also read about that and the nightmare the prisoners are facing. There are about 70 prisoners in a cell which was designed for 5 people only. I think this prison has been called slaughterhouse by Amnesty

People will never learn, similar atrocities had been committed so many times even before the Nazis.

I think it is necessary to educate children from an early age that such things are absolutely forbidden. We need to take such actions out of humanity

@gilggg yes we should and it shoud be instilled I really honestly feel that. But it's already in history books, from the sacking of Rome, Atilla the Hun, Ghengis khan, Constantinople etc... So long as people go to war this things would happen sorry.

Sadly, most of us will never learn. God will have to step in and teach us a good lesson

I hope we will find a way to eliminate the evil from the world and make it worthless. The evil must be "stopped"!

Humanity seems to be not learning any lessons from the pages of history and we often ask the question when will they ever learn? There's also the constant presence of evil in this world.

It seems that the pace of technological progress is not equivalent to moral development in our world

Sadly as long as there's money and power there will be evil. These people only want to destroy others for the sake of their own gain whether it's to be more powerful or to have more wealth.

The world must never be silent. The strongest countries in the world must destroy such acts.

@gilggg Unfortunately at the moment the strongest countries seem intent on destroying the world rather than saving it!

They say that history repeats itself and we never seem to learn from history. Do we?
