What is your favorite movie villian?

We are watching Red Dragon, which is if you aren't familiar with is part of the Hannibal Lector movie series. Watching this got me thinking about all the villians/bad guys/anti heroes and the such in movies.
Ralph Finnes plays the villian in this movie, he is a serial killer of sorts- who worships the very walk that Lector walks on, and tries to copy him sort of.
There are many many movies and many many villians to choose from for your favorite villian. I don't know for sure if I can pick just one, but one my favorite villians of any movie is the Health Ledger Joker, just the way he was designed, dressed and played the villian was excellent, really true to what I think the Joker should be.

I think Hannibal takes the cake.
I liked it when Mads Mikkelson played him in the show better than Anthony Hopkins in the movie.

When it comes to the best villains there are some names that immediately come to mind like Joker from Dark Knight, Hannibal from Silence of the Lambs, Hans Gruber from Die Hard, etc but personally, for me, Darth Vader is the greatest movie villain of all time.

@Shine10Mathew I feel like that is such an easy answer. Everybody says Darth Vader is the best movie villain. I agree with the others. But Darth Vader is just too easy of is answer lol

@amadeo Hannibal is a great one and quite possible so because it is more believable than the rest.
