I would most certainly agree that Zinedine Zidane is one of the best player of this era to have stepped onto the football pitch. He's the ultimate, 'complete' football player...he can do everything that specialists cannot.

thank you for the response...rememmber world cup 2006?I think i lose my bet when FRANCE team defeated on a first round.But in the end they did make it to final...now thats MAGIC.

WC 2006 was a disaster. I was rooting for Germany first at the time, then France. When I saw France made it to the final, I thought it was a sure victory for them, and it would have been too were it not for the crap shot that that player who replaced Zidane in the shoot-out took. The dumbo tried to imitate the same shot Zidane took on that penalty shot in the first half. Tsk tsk tsk tsk tsk

zidane was a very good player.his skils was realy awesome.but i don't thinkhe is still the best player.ronaldinho is much better.his moves are great.he is the best player

I saw the championship game this summer and I think Zidane is good. France could of won if Zidane didn't get a red card. But what is done is done. Have you ever listen to the song "Coup de boule" ? It's a french song about Zidane's Headbutt.
