Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell was found dead in his hotel room in Detroit Michigan early this morning.
Cornell who had been battling depression and substance abuse recently. The cause of his death has been ruled a suicide by the Wayne County Medical Examiner's Office.
Cornell was found in his hotel room at the MGM Grand Hotel with a band around his neck just after midnight.
Cornell was the hero of music fans in the 1990s. His death has shocked members of his band and his family.
