Richard Rojas, 26, who has been charged one count with murder and 20 counts of attempted murder when he allegedly (innocent until proven guilty in a court of law) drove his automobile on the sidewalk in New York City New York admitted he has mental problems and his intention was to rub out everyone who got into his path driving on the sidewalk.
An 18 year old female from Michigan died in the auto accident. Rojas had a wish that the New York City police should ended his life, not arrest him and take him into custody.
So far the officials in New York City do not believe that Rojas who served three years in the United States Navy was doing the work of a terrorist.
But then again politicians in New York are sympathetic to tragic acts in their city as not being of a terrorist nature these days in the bizarre world they live in.

That is true since he claim he was insane at the time of the crime.

@Deepizzaguy He probably was, though the legal and psychological definitions of insane differ. Just lock him up, feed him bread and water, and throw away the key.

I know what you mean. When will New Yorkers wake up that their city is becoming a sad place to live with liberal politicians running their city?

That is the New York Police Department for you. No wonder my cousin left New York to live in North Carolina several years ago.

That is why I do not understand society puts animals to sleep but not humans who admit they want to rub out everyone in sight.

If he felt the need to die, he could have jumped in front of a subway train.
