My Rainy Day Activities Include...

This is #3 for my “thought-starter” challenge. What do you do on a rainy day, if you don’t have to go to your job? I find rainy days to be good days to clean my house. I also like to take a nap on a rainy day. I love to snuggle up with a good book. Lately, I’ve been “coloring” in my new CAT coloring book. I’ll have to post some of my masterpieces. I also like to write posts on myLot. What do you like to do on a rainy day?

I certainly do not dust on rainy days as one can't even see the dust. Reorganizing drawers and closets is okay for me.

I don't want to run errands in the rain or work in the yard, so I just concentrate on doing the laundry since I have a washer and dryer or running the vacuum and cleaning out the refrigerator, Maybe.

That's nice. I usually read a book and have a. Cup of coffee. And I keep on seeing outside. The view of the nature during the rain is beautiful.

I enjoy a gentle rain, but I really don't like storms.

@shubhu3 The sun is shining bright today and the sky is blue. I can barely see the leaves on the trees moving so the wind is calm. It looks like a really nice day outside, but I haven't been outside yet and I haven't heard the weather report. I have a meeting to attend at 4PM and then I'm going grocery shopping after that.

All of the above! Its crummy and rainy here but its a working day for me. I hate running errands in the rain. But reading, cleaning and organizing is something I always do. What are you reading these days?

lay in bed. Try to sleep but always fails. I have been awake for almost three days.

I'm sorry that you are having trouble sleeping. Are you worrying about something? Sometimes, it can be difficult to sleep, if you have something on your mind that keeps you awake. I find that if I read a chapter or two in an interesting book after I go to bed, it takes my mind off other things and I go right to sleep. Be careful about what you eat or drink before bedtime too. And I've heard it said: Don't watch TV or play video games for two hours before bedtime, because it can stimulate your brain and keep you from sleeping. One hint was to turn off all the lights in the house about an hour before bedtime. Darkness tells your body that it's time to sleep.

Read. Do online stuff (if there's no t-storm.) Clean out DVR and perhaps take a nap. I do some cleaning too.

I also like to play Spades and Hearts on my IPad. Or watch an old movie on Netflix.

I cook delicious food items. Invite my friends and celebrate a good get-together. But, with limited drinks or with no drinks. I prepare generally Pakora, the unhealthy diet though for many of us.
