The third studio album that Elvis recorded was titled “Loving You” and it was released on July 1, 1957. The album included rock and roll and rockabilly songs. The album wound up on the Billboard Top Pop Albums chart for a total of ten weeks and it was certified Gold in 1968.
The singles for this album were “(Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear”, “Mean Woman Blues” and “Loving You”.
This album included seven songs which had been written for his latest movie “Loving You”. On this particular album Elvis also did a cover of one of my favorite Fats Domino songs “Blueberry Hill”. Of all of the songs his greatest hit became “Teddy Bear”.
