Bad news for the fans of the Boston Celtics. Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas will miss the remainder of the Eastern Conference Finals versus the Cleveland Cavaliers due to a hip injury.
Thomas originally injured his hip in March. The hip was reinjured during the sixth game of the Eastern Conference Playoffs versus the Washington Wizards.
During the first two games of the Eastern Conference Finals versus the Cavaliers, his hip started to swell which will force him to miss the remainder of the playoffs which could end in a sweep for the Cavaliers with the next two games to be played at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland Ohio.
I am sure National Basketball Association Commissioner Adam Silver is really disappointed the finals of both Eastern and Western Conferences Finals have not been competitive series for fans of the league to enjoy since both the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers have been undefeated in the playoffs during the current basketball season.

Even if he was in, they would still lose the playoffs. Hope he gets better soon though

That is true that a great playoff series is reduced to a squash match.
