Ten years ago the musical movie "Mamma Mia" which was based on the hit song by the singing group ABBA became a hit movie.
British filmmaker Ol Parker will write and direct the sequel. The movie will bring back the original cast of Meryl Streep, Pierce Bronsan, Amanda Seyfried and Colin Firth.
It is very unusual for a movie that is based on a hit record from a musical band like ABBA who was very popular in the 1970s to have a sequel ten years later.
The movie will be released in theaters in July 2018. The soundtrack will have additional songs from ABBA that were not released in the original movie.

I may be the only person in the world who did not like the film in spite of having a catching music and very good actors.

I like the movie but the closing credits looked like the Village People movie "Can't Stop The Music".

@Deepizzaguy It was a very light movie. I don“t think it deserved all the fuss. Meryl Streep has made a lot of awesome movies
