Food photography #5: My sundae.

We planned to go to church at 8:30 this morning. I unlocked the gate but a big car was honking continuously. I turned my back not minding the honking when my kid brother called my name aloud.
He and his daughter came home. (My son had his class in the morning and he left earlier ). So we siblings went to church at 10AM for the last morning mass.
Later,my brother said we will have our lunch at a restaurant so I texted my son to follow us to Shakey's.
...And then I had my sundae. That was my dessert. My son and my sister each had banana split.
I don't have a cheat day but I have restrictions; and definitely not desserts.
So my friends, how was your sundae; errr, your Sunday?

This was such a boring Sunday because we can't tell if it is hot or it would rain, we just bought half a gallon of ice cream and cones and ate it in the house this afternoon

oh no, my friend. my Sunday will never be boring if i have that big gallon (not half) of ice cream on a very hot day. i love it.

@ridingbet sometimes we buy half, sometimes 1 gallon depending if the freezer is full. If we will eat using cups we buy 1 gallon, half gallon if we will eat it in cones.

@louievill oh, i prefer in cups, and my red cup is not a cup but a mug. hahaha! so, the bigger, the more ice cream placed.

i wished our Sunday was not a very hot Sunday, but it was--- so hot that my sundae started to melt. hahah!

My Sunday was good. I had my Ice Cream on Friday though... LOL
but my ice cream is almost always CHoCOLATE. And I have Hershey's syrup I put on it! MMM
Now you gt me wanting Ice cream and I am at work and there is none to be found

@ridingbet I have the same hope! because I love my ice cream. but I would rather have Chocolate only. Maybe strawberry and Vanilla, Fudge Swirl, I think I have eaten cookies and cream a couple of times.
I have never heard of Ice Cream with cheese in it!

i super-like ice cream as well. any flavors is good for me, even the cheese one where there are bits of cheese that we can bite on.
cookies and cream, strawberry--- practically anything. i have no diabetes, and hope i won't have that forever.

i cannot recall that name, but my plate had a slice of pizza, mojo, and spaghetti, and the dessert was served when we were finished with the lunch. i had some vegetable salad of my sister, but i just ate slices of cucumber, the stalks of the lettuce, and tomatoes

@hereandthere oh, i forgot, we had a piece of chicken each in our plates. my sister had the one with the 'puwit', her favorite part; i had the wing, son had the 'pecho', and brother had the 'pecho' too.

I taught Sunday School and went to church, but my husband's legs hurt too much for him to attend. Your Sundae looks yummy, though. I love a Sundae with hard vanilla ice cream, homemade hot fudge sauce, walnuts in syrup, whipped cream, a cherry on top and in a tulip shaped glass!

you teach on Sundays? our Sunday is church day. sundaes, we sometimes buy a cone each in an ice cream stall, and lick the sundae while walking under the sun, that it melts quickly.
