Do you have a hard time buying Christmas presents for your parents? If not, what do you get them?

I knew what I wanted and needed this year and they were a few things that I just couldn't bring myself to buy for myself so that worked out well LOL

Yup, that did work out well LOL See, what I need is way to expensive for anyone to get me, so I dont bother asking for the stuff. LOL

I DO have a hard time shopping for my parents. Especially my dad. He always wants the big, huge, nice, expensive things. My mom's a LITTLE hard to shop for, but she's not so bad. I can always think of SOMETHING for her. I just know I can't get her a gift card because she'll end up spending it on someone else!

I don't have that type of problem with them wanting the biggest and the best but still I can't give them cash or gift cards because they too will spend it on someone else. I'm really stuck!

yes, this year I'm lost. I usually make my stepmom something, but I don't know this year what to do. Dad usually sends us giftcards so it seems silly to send them some, but I'm about to that place.

My mom is addicted to QVC. She watches them all day and orders way more than she should. For any holiday that requires a gift she gets a QVC gift certificate.

That's something that I never thought of doing and it would be great as they're buying a new house. What would you suggest here?

My mom is fairly easy to get. She loves movies and books which I'm able to get without a problem. My dad is another story. I'll just probably get some gift cards to his favorite stores.

I wish my mom had time to read or watch movies and that I knew where my dad liked to shop. Last year we gave him some money and asked him to show us what he got and he never did. I bet he paid bills.
