Boot

It's been 3 1/2 weeks since I was struck by a car, still do not know who the driver was. The cast is off and now I'm in a boot for the next 5 weeks or so (can't put any pressure on it either) and then I will be off to physical therapy and will gradually be weaned off the boot. So, it looks like I will be in this boot for most of the Summer, Yikes!

Oh dear so sorry to hear this Block. I did not realize this happened to you.
Yes not nice any time of the year but with summer coming up oh dear.
I pray for your complete healing.

Sorry to know about the accident. I know being in a boot tries your patience but that's the only way you can be back on your feet. You may like to keep busy reading or watching videos.

Yuck.. That sucks. I had one of those boots once.. not fun!
This was a hit and run? that is horrible.
We had one happen on my street just the other day... this woman hit an 8 year old little boy and stopped as the mom sat the boy in the car. she turned around and said wait I need some insurance info and off she went... I can not believe these People!!

Get well soon and enjoy the summer. Hope the boot will be removed soon and you are on your legs.
