The police in Waterford Connecticut are on the search for a male suspect that was seen on camera stealing a donation jar from a Hess gasoline station on Boston Post Road on Sunday.
The name of the donation jar belongs to the Friday's Rescue Foundation which is a charity to rehabilitate and rescue middle to older dogs.
The Hess gasoline station in Waterford donates 10 cents per gallon of gasoline that customers use to fill up their gasoline tanks of their autos.
The thief asked the clerk to buy some cigarettes while he concealed the donation jar underneath his tee shirt.
It is likely that the thief will be found by the police since his image has been posted on Facebook by concerned citizens.
It is a shame that a thief has to borrow without permission a donation jar for a animal charity.

His face is on Facebook and I am sure in the local market in Connecticut. He will be captured pretty soon.

@DianneN The crook will either surrender to the police by going to their headquarters or they will catch him outside his home soon.
