Lucky are those with crystal clear eyes. I don't. Mama told me when I was young "stop reading in a dim lit area. do not read while lying down. eat squash or carrots so your eyes will never give you trouble as you grow old.."Stuff like that pertaining to taking care of your eyes. Too bad, I am now using a progressive lenses at 43. The Ophthalmologist that I started young for the progressive lenses. Doc told me normally people who have this kind of specs are aged 50's. But what can I do. I am always in front of the computer. My work requires me to work 8 hours in front of the computer. I thought I just couldn't read so I have a prescription for reading glasses but then again I am also far-sighted and got astigmatism already. Good thing about Progressive lenses, you don't need to remove your eyeglasses when you read and when walking since I have an issue with being far-sighted. A bit expensive than the normal specs but it is I think cheaper in the long run. Everytime I remove my glasses, I couldn't see well. . I know I am trying to look at something or I am trying to read something but it is just blurry. I have this crazy habit of removing my glasses and will try to see without it and that is when I will regret of not taking care of my eyes. If I have followed my mom's reminders will my eyes still be clear? I am not sure if there is truth in every carrots and squash consumption that you need to get a clear vision if you started eating your veggies when you were a kid.
