How would you feel and react if your colleague in the same level as yours is taking away a pay package twice the amount as yours only by being in the good book of his/her immediate boss or HR? Would you leave the job and search for a new one or go to the court of law or write to the management of the company or post this injustice on a social media? This is what is happening in most of the private companies in India as our government has closed its eyes to their unscrupulous practice.

I would be very very angry. Maybe I will resign and find a new job. I can't go to the office with anger in my heart everyday. It will kill me.

That's the sentiment most of us will express but then you have to run yourself so it's better to find another one before kicking the former one.

I do not really know something like this happens, because I really do not mind other peoples salary..I just do everything what I can do to reach my own desire pay..I believe that if you do your job well, the management will definitely see you and award you but of course it is always at their own way

A private company runs by the goodwill and image of the people. They want only talented people but not the people who work like bulls sticking to their chairs. They need Deers and not Lions for their work. Hope you have got the point.

I don't agree with you. I have seen companies depriving those whom they exploit the most. It's the higher ups who take bribes before giving a hike in payment or even other facilities. No doubt most of the private companies lose business. Where quality and skill in concerned excepting a few most of the companies have still a long way to go.

Most companies are the same here. I know I earn more than 2 of the guys that work for the same boss doing the same job I do. Before I came here I was on the same as they get now. I wasn't willing to leave my job to get the same amount to move here so I put an offer to him and he accepted! In truth what others earn doesn't bother me but I'll always try to get the best deal I can get for me.

I inform the management or file a case in court against those corrupt people.

That doesn't seem fair. Are they the same gender?
