Sloping roads in Zankho Pelri in Punakha.

In Punakha in Bhutan, hotel Zhankho Pelri is situated at a slope of a hill. The cars are parked at the bottom of the slope. The different floors of the hotel are situated on the slope itself. But the ambience of the hotel is amazing.

This is lovely Dr. I love the photo! Oh so everything is on slopes there in the town of Punakha. I bet the hotel was very nice. Did you sleep sideways on the slope?

Thanks Ocean, yes everything is in the slope. but the resort is built in such a way that while staying there we dont feel it. i loved the stay. When I took snaps then I realized about the slanting landscape.

@TiarasOceanView Yes Ocean, nights are more romantic in Punakha, the white moon, reflection on the river, breeze from the windows, it is awesome.

Is this situated on mountain s , I hope sloppy roads are not dangerous there.

Thanks Hemanji, yes Punakha is in the hills. While driving the cars should take care about the curving roads.
