While I was trying to catch up with mylot's notifications, I suddenly smell a familiar aroma in the kitchen. It was like a dog followed the distinct smell into pan. I was surprised seeing a look alike butterfly in the form of a mussel with a shell. My siblings and I are going to have a proper meal for dinner. A very delicious mussels meal. Love those mussels especially the soup wirh onions and ginger. I also love them placed on top of hot coal and eaten once the shell opens together with my favorite dip.

@Shavkat nice to do while in the beach, we have lots of mussels here since we are near Bacoor, Cavite where all the mussels and oysters or " talaba" comes from. Coastal road seafood market is just a few minutes or an hours drive from my place if there is no traffic.

@Shavkat only half cooked when the shells open seconds after placed in coal. What I love to eat is raw oysters or what we call " kilaw" just blanched, tossed in vinegar so the acid would cook it and different spices added after the vinegar has been drained

We did, my friend. I like peas mixed with some menus in my country. The best legumes to eat.
