Here is a video from YouTube for those who like to take charge and do it yourself! Change your oil or have a friend do it and pay them instead of that guy up the street who don't know you or care about what kind of oil you like in your engine.
Leaving your oil changes to teenagers at the gas station? Never again! Watch this Viewdo and learn how to do it yourself...

Isn't YouTube the best? It has helped me with this and many other issues. I saved so much money by doing things myself.

@TiarasOceanView I enjoy watching in particular, those NASA and Space Rip videos about looking for life in the goldie locks zone with the Kepler space telescope. I think they plan on getting the James Webb space telescope up if not already, soon and there is also another one that will be able to detect water and possible signs of life using spectrometer readings. The Discovery Channel and History Channel also provide many videos to share on YouTube.

I used to do all my own maintenance and even most of the repairs to my cars. Then marriage and children kept me too busy and now computerized cars can't be fixed with just a few tools. I have a little shop that changes my oil, owned by an individual with two employees. I tried Walmart once and they didn't replace the cap, it would have ruined my car!! Never again. I once replaced the gaskets on my 65 Olds way back in the 70s, what a dirty job! But I saved hundreds thanks to Chilton's and a friend that loaned me tools. I enjoyed working on my cars. Except the clutch cable on my old VW bug, I still have a scar on my hand from that one in the 80s. What a PITA!!! Too old to work on cars now and they're all computerized anyway.

Yea, Walmart, they have Sam's Club tire shop also and the Sam's Club tire shop put my Cadillac's center caps on but one fell off while I drove it home and now I need to buy new center caps. They cost a fortune to get new ones. The new ones are plastic and not as near good as the original stainless steel ones. bummer.

I think I will look for an old 1961 Plymouth Valiant with automatic and push button transmission that uses standard steering, standard brakes and manual windows. That would be awesome. To be true, I used to own me a 1961 Valiant and every now and then I see it in Leave It To Beaver re-runs on t.v.

My dad taught me how to change the oil when I was 11-years old @lookatdesktop . And up until 2 years ago when my spine got so bad, I was still changing it myself. Just like changing a flat at the side of the road. AAA? Seriously????? Get your butt out of the car and change it. I can't believe how many people today can't even do that.
