In college, I realized that I've spend 4 years of my existence, enough time to make a few or at least one friend, but I didn't. I don't trust in anyone there, none inspires confidence so I prefer to stay away from them. Another thing it's that they only care for themselves, they're arrogant, individualistic, selfish, have no good intentions. And I find it very sad to see people like that. I must admit that there are some who have values ??and are kinder.

I think that it must be in your personality to not be more dependent on other people. If you were, then you would have tried being friends with those people regardless of their negative penchants. Am I correct?

@luispas You don't have to actually create a relationship with people that you don't want to be with. The world is a huge place, you could find people who would fit with you somewhere. But may I ask, what makes you think that the people around you are arrogant? Oh, and sorry for the late reply. I went offline a while ago.

Omg I can't say this better. I feel like I'm just being be, and the friendship it's not something I need to force, it just happens. And with these people, nothing happen, with my personality (as you said) I feel like I don't want or need to create a relationship with people I don't feel comfortable.

Everyone is self absorbed much more today it seems and fewer are the ones you can even like.
I know you have some decent friends, but to associate in college must be so hard for you.
Do you have much longer at this college? When will you be finished?

@luispas Yes hopefully the time will fly of one year. I remember when I was trying to achieve my goal of getting through beauty school (hairdressing) and the girls were so mean..I was happy to get out of it after a long 2 yrs as I was working and school..But the last year went by so fast!!! And then you can return home I hope right? And get work in your own place? Your school is in your own country right or no?

@TiarasOceanView What a shame that yoy had to deal with mean people, the good thing is that you leave that behind.
I hope so too, but the time is not flying, at least not by now haha I study kind of far from home (in another state) but the thing is that I want to live in another country, so I want to finish the college and live, that's what I always wanted, I hope I can have the chance to do it.

Yes, sometimes I feel kind of lonely because I don't have none to open up. But I know how to deal with it
