I'm Going To Have To Do The Very Best I Can ...

Today is very warm .. so I have Dukester's silver shade curtains rolled down ... and ... for now I have a little fan to keep the air moving inside his kennel. The back side of the kennel is open ... I don't need to pull curtains down as it isn't sunny on that side. The breeze is blowing through ... that's a good thing. Dukester's kennel is underneath a big shed so it won't get wet when it rains. I have canvas curtains I can roll down if it's cold. Next ... I am going to get mosquito netting to go around his kennel ... his house. Then ... he'll have mosquito curtains to roll up or down ... too. I am going to make his house as comfortable as possible for him since he has to live outside. Kissy and Camie have all the comforts living inside. I want Dukester to have the same ... outside. This winter I want to have him a heating pad ... maybe a ceramic heater for warmth. I haven't decided yet. Last winter before we rescued him ... oh my, he lived in such horrific conditions. Since I never wanted to have an outside dog ... I have to make sure I take the 'inside' to him ... make his life as good as possible. If I had my way ... all three Pups would be the best of friends and he'd be living inside, also. Do you know ... Dukester only 'goes to the bathroom' when he walks all through the day? I have never minded cleaning his kennel at all ... for a month now ... he only goes while on his walks. Isn't that something? For now ... I can't have my way ... so guess what? I'm just going to have to do the very best I can. The photo shows silver shading curtains that are all around his kennel ... also, the canvas curtains that are also ... all around his kennel. The next 'curtains' to go up will be mosquito netting.
