Pirates Of The Caribbean Five is a box office hit

The fifth Pirates Of The Caribbean movie landed in first place in the theater box office for this weekend. The movie that stars Johnny Depp opened as the second lowest opening weekend in the history of the franchise in the U S but the movie has been successful in the worldwide market which has the officials at Disney Studios happier than a clam. What is making me laugh is that the movies in May with the exception of Guardians Of The Galaxy Volume 2 which appeals to kids. The studios in Hollywood need to realize that rebooting popular television shows like CHIPS and Baywatch that had R ratings will hurt their business in the long run. People like family friendly heroes these days in the summer.
