Waiting For My Family and Friends To Arrive For the Cookout

The baked beans are ready. The chili is ready. The hot dogs will be grilled outside on the gas grill. I’m sure there will be enough food to feed an army. We’ll be eating leftovers for a few days probably. Everyone brings food and there is a really nice variety. I’m going take it easy though, since I don’t want to gain back the ten pounds I lost recently. I can taste everything though. The sun is still shining brightly. I do see a few white clouds in the sky, but it doesn’t look like it’s going to rain. So that’s a good thing. Only two of my grandchildren will be here and all four of my great grandchildren. So, I can enjoy them today, too. I see them quite often though. We all attend the same congregation. Four generations.
