Writing Articles

Currently with 2 sites down to the drain, Blogjob and Literacybase plus other minimal sites, I had decided to focus my writings on 2 sites as for now; Hubpages Mylot I do not wish to continue hunting down for other new sites because these new born sites had disappointed me throughout these 2 years. I had wrote many articles for these sites and yet they had decided not to pay writers or just disappeared without a notice. Therefore, I will stick to Hubpages, write more articles there since it had been paying me for the last 8 years. As for Mylot, I had just started a few weeks ago, I hope that this site will be my permanent stop too. What sites are you writing for right now?

Mylot has reappeared after they stopped paying. Hopefully it should stay around. myLot is not a blogging site and so your decision to write at hubpages will give you an outlet to your writing prowess. And as for these sites that come and go I believe in picking what I like and be mentally prepared to see its disappearance. Having said that I must admit all those sites such as bubblews, LiberacyBase and tinycent they did pay me and I enjoyed my presence there whileit lasted.

@peachpurple I did some at Tinycent but that site is now known as Gotmatter.com where one cannot delete. They are making money on our old posts there. LiteracyBase has no provision to delete and as far as Bubblews is concerned I did delete a few.

Glad that you did get paid and enjoyed those times. Have you deleted your articles at Bubblews, Literacybase and Tinycent?

Nice to see you here now. I have been here since about 2008. Then went to Bubblews when it stopped paying but came back here when it begins paying again. It's my first writing site actually and is so happy here especially long time ago.

@SIMPLYD I had seen you somewhere... is it is Blogjob or Literacybase? I sure hope that Mylot will be permanent here

Yes, I think ever since Bubblews closed down, many other writing sites that I joined started to pay at the beginning, and then stopped paying or closed down too, except mylot. I think mylot is really the good site to stay, as the team is honest and sincere, I suppose. It's good that you can still earn from hubpages. Besides mylot, I am also writing at ForumCoin, The Forum Wheel and Postloop, which are commenting on forums, not really writing sites. I guess I'd prefer to start my own blog if I manage to find time doing so.

@peachpurple I actually have other commitments, such as homeschooling and my software development business, though I would also like to set up my blog. I will try to squeeze some time doing so. Regarding TFW, did they tell you the reason? I remember I tried to write longer posts when I applied for TFW. Have you tried postloop? I can now earn better at postloop as there are more posts I can write. Perhaps you can check it out.

however, mylot is not an article-writing site. i mean it would be like comparing forumcoin with hubpages, two totally different sites, so i think how we use mylot and our expectations of it should be different.

yup, I understand your point of view. Mylot is alike writing at Facebook or Twitter, short sentences to interact with others. Hubpages is alike Squidoo, Helium, Literacybase and Blogjob where you write long winded articles Do you write for other sites too?

Oh yes, I had seen your earnings at Bitlanders, very high, top 10 of them. I was there but I can't reach anywhere, so hard to achieve. So I left that place.

Hi, @peachpurple! Same happened to me... I hadn't got much time, lately, to write here. Today, when I was at work I received an email from MyLot saying someone was following me, and here I am! It's so great to read and share things and thoughts here! I guess these two sites, MyLot and Hubpages are reliable, as I'm tired of writing, - whenever I have some time- and then see how those sites die... So here I am! Hope I can visit MyLot more often. :-)

The same like you. I am still in HP and Mylot besides my own blogs at Blogspots. HP is a good one to provide me a passive income without writing too often there.

@BabyRai1 I am a newbie at Mylot too. Just started a few weeks ago. After going through so many bad sites, I had decided to stick to here and Hubpages as for now. What about you?
