How to deal with premature end

I am often in a situation that something I have been building and hoping for ends before it is even recognized as real. This mostly refers to feelings and human relationships. How do you deal premature end? Isn`t it a shame we sometimes never get the chance?

Personally, I do it by coping and hoping. Cope with the situation the best I can and hope that one day I'll find that special one where it will not ever end.
