It is a special day for my groovy granny. I am sure she will be happy for her 99th birthday today. Even if my family and I cannot greet her up close because she was abducted by her own children. I hope and pray that she will not feel bad because of what’s going on lately.

@infatuatedbby I am not sure, my friend. As far as I could remember, my granny doesn't want to leave her house. I am not sure how long will she be gone. There is a war of where she is staying at now.

And I hope she is safe in that place where there is the war.

I definitely would feel sad. I haven't seen old friends in years, and I have tried to contact them without success.

Well, I have family that are within about 2 hrs from me in 2 different directions that I have not been able to see for yrs and so I can relate. I am sure in time, if it is meant to see her then it will happen. Learning to be patient is always the key.

@ridingbet I hope, my dear friend. In my opinion, they are not telling the real situation. They conceal the real truth about pressuring us to live the family house.

@Shavkat well, as long as they do take good care of your grandmother, i think that should be in their thoughts, and not always brainwashing her.

I did say happy birthday to your granny in one of the posts... Hoping that she will be cared for and loved properly. I'm sorry that you are not near her to celebrate her birthday with her.. I too have 2 older sisters went missing since 1981 and we have no idea where they are... so I know what you are going through..
