Well that was kind of a waste of time...

My SIL came with my youngest nephew to take Mom and I to get her Procrit shot.
We waited a little bit in the waiting room, and then Mom got called in.
The nurse said that Mom shouldn't have her Procrit shot, because her hemoglobin levels were at 11.3, and they were supposed to be at 11 at the highest.
Mom told the nurse that her oncologist had emailed her just last night and said that she should have her Procrit shot.
So the nurse tried to get a hold of the doctor from the phone there in the room, and got a hold of a couple of other people, and in the meantime I went in and out of the room a couple of times to tell my SIL why we were taking so long, and....
To make a long story short, someone finally wound up saying that Mom should not have another Procrit shot (or was it just a blood test?) until July. 
Oh, well, at least Mom got out of the house...

Is she still feeling pretty good? I remember the last time I remember reading anything about how she was doing she had felt up to cooking and was having some pretty good days.

Yes, @thislittlepenny earns, she is still doing pretty good walking herself and things. She still gets breathless sometimes; I hope the doctors can figure out something about that.

Yes, at least she got out of the house! Hate that she did not get the treatment she was expecting and hope they are correct that it was not the right time.
