Now trying to remember this will frustrate you: y = ax2 + bx + c Now to memorize a formula is the same way as memorizing a whole sentence, so during my college years I device a way to help me memorize those darn things. Just write it repeatedly. That's right, righting the formula for 10 to 20 times will help you record it in your mind. In the end derivation is far better, but if you have no other choice, try writing it repeatedly.
