Do you believe that emotions can cause an illness? Maybe we need more analyze what we are doing, what it will give us in life. You can think that forgive the whole world, that you are very kind and hearty, but if you feel bad, it's a lie. People tend to push back all the mud of life covering it with flowers. But maybe they should dig out all abscesses of life and open them? Maybe they have too much supressed emotions that remain in the body as a spasm later causing some illnesses? I think, all diseases are associated with emotions, because each area of our body is associated with brain activity. But often people even not notice how their emotions are affect the body and the tension grows, goes into the circulatory, skeletal, digestive systems, and so on.

I agree. Sadness/ not getting what you want to can lead to depression

Yes, I do believe that suppressed emotions can cause sickness. I have read that before. It's always a good idea to talk to someone or exercise. It can cause sickness if you continually suppress them.

Absolutely @lillywriter Having noticed years back that those who are happy and act like they are without a care are usually healthy, it seemed a good path to follow

I do believe that emotions can bring on an illness just as it can also help an illness. A positive mental attitude can make all the difference in the world to your recovery. It's my understanding that there are doctor's who believe that colds are brought on by emotions.
