Grand Oaks Drive - Yesterday, my buddy Rod gave me the complicated little digital camera that he no longer cared to use. Today I took that little camera for a scooter ride along the trails of our Grand Oaks neighborhood - down toward where someone is busy building new houses and chopping down some of the forest trees as they build. At the intersection of Grand Oaks Drive and a side street strangely named "Limber Pines," I decided to let that little camera have some fun collecting enough images to be used to produce a great big panoramic view of the street as it goes by that intersection. The resulting panorama, were it to be printed out in one piece, would be a photo print 9 feet long and 2 feet wide. The image had to be greatly reduced in size in order to fit here on MyLot, I brought it down in size to what would be a printout 23 inches long by 4 inches wide. (Good enough for government work, right? ) I had not yet learned how to cause the camera's viewing screen to show up brighter outside in the daylight, so I guess that I made some lucky guesses as to overlapping the individual image frames that went into making up the "stitched" image panorama.
