Put this under the "Are you kidding me?" department. Actress Priyanka Chopra wants to play the role of Barbara Gordon alias Batgirl.
Can we all say "Laugh out loud"? Okay before I am accused of having a closed mind to an actress who used to star in Bollywood movies in the Hindi language in India, it amazes me that Chopra wants to play a super hero in a movie.
Chopra played a villain in the "Baywatch" movie that bombed in the box office recently.
I understand her desire to make a name for herself in Hollywood. Good luck trying to land the role of Batgirl that was originally played by the late Yvonne Craig (1937-2015) who in my opinion was the best actress to play the role of Batgirl in the Batman television series that ran on ABC television from 1966-1968 for one season.

I know what you mean since the squeaky wheels get a lot of grease these days with minority actors and actresses screaming they want a pie of the pie.

Let her play whatever she wants. Once she left India means it is for gaining name and fame only. Nothing other than that.

I would not mind a foreign actress playing a super heroine. It worked for Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.

How is her English? She can't play Batgirl if she can't hide traces of her native accent.

That is a good question since I have not seen any of her movies much less know who she is from a hole in the wall.
