Weed: Where Do You Stand?

When I was really young I was 100% against all drugs of all kinds that weren't the medicines that doctors prescribed me for when I was sick. My grandmother who raised me is the one who raised me with that mind set. As I got older and learned about most of the people in my mom's side of the family were on drugs and terrible people it put me against it even more. It wasn't until I started becoming more independent thinking in high school that I decided to learn more about the different drugs and what they do. Obviously all hardcore drugs are still a huge no no to me, but my stance on marijuana has definitely changed. I learned that it could be used for medicinal purposes and even when used for recreational purposes, as long as it isn't laced with anything, that all it really does is make people more relaxed, sleepy, and/or hungry. I am for the legalization of it because like I said as long as it isn't laced it doesn't do very much harm not in moderation anyway. I recently watched a video from BuzzFeed where one of the staff has a neuropathic chronic pain condition and she has been through so much to treat it and recently decided to try medicinal marijuana. Just seeing how it worked for her and brought her this relief that nothing else has ever done for her really just proves how much it could help. The video is very educational and goes into detail about what they use from the weed in medicinal marijuana to treat patients. I encourage people to watch it and then see what they think about it. What do you think about marijuana, medicinal or not? Have you ever tried it? Would you consider using it for chronic pain diseases?

I think its fine for medical use. It is legal in my state here, though I am not sure how much one can have, as I don't smoke it or do it in any form.

I am all for legalizing it, especially for medical use. My state doesn't have it legalized at all. One of my friends still has it brought in as it's the only thing that helps her migraines. I'm currently trying CBD extract to help my fibromyalgia. CBD has no THC so it doesn't make you high. It's technically illegal here and I'm taking a risk ordering it but I feel like its worth trying.

Thats exactly what she goes over in the video. If it works for you then just be careful, don't wanna be in trouble with the law over trying to help yourself from the evil that are migraines. Ever since I started with just the regular stuff my migraines have been occurring much less often.

I smoked marijuuana in college but this is different. It is prescribed by a doctor and it is monitored and hopefully can help me with my health problems. I am still waiting to be able to use it and my doctor being put on the list.
